Axtlan's Model Sheets - Formation (Characters)

More complete plans for the Formation characters. Trying to lock the proportions, armor, shields, equipment, and rank differences while keeping the figures compact and easy to read.

They should feel heavy and disciplined without all becoming the same soldier. This stage is about making the character families repeatable before final rendering or 3D work.

Early Formation outfit. From birth to death, people are already on the line in some way. Para-military, built for the survivability of the inexperienced, but still usable by veterans. This model pass is mainly about the silhouette and scale.

Model pass. Version without the field equipment. Could be a casual or training uniform. Anyone wearing it is expected to become a soldier when needed. Checking what still needs to work in 3D.

This is where the earlier idea starts to settle. Distinguished serviceman. More formal, internal-control type. Watching the outside discipline, order, and enforcement from within. Still leaving room for changes, but the main construction should work now.

Veteran figure. Service time actually changes your place in society. Someone still on active duty even when not officially deployed. This pass is mostly about proportions, construction, and making sure the design still reads before the final rendering.

Top-brass type. Commander or general. Grounded, ready, precise. A command without needing extra decoration. This is the cleaner handoff toward 3D.

3D: A female version of a commander. Not a male-centered culture, everyone needs to be able to hold a gun and defend their position. Reproduction capacity should be highly rewarded, giving them respect, as without new children, there are no new soldiers.

Religious-philosophical figure. Field presence, strategy, engineering, architecture, and ideological direction. Someone who mostly works from within systems rather than outside them. This model pass is mainly about the silhouette and scale.

Higher religious leader. More extreme version. Gave up part of his humanity to connect more directly with Formation systems, research, and analysis. Here I was checking what needed to stay fixed and what could still change before the final artwork.

Light armor version. Like most Formation armor, it should adapt to the wearer easily. Unisex by design. More about filtration, radiation management, and survivability than raw protection. I kept this focused on the parts that need to read in 3D.

Taking it into the model stage. Main battle suit. Heavier version of the light armor. Built for holding and taking actions. Better sensors, better environmental handling, harder to move fast in.

Enhanced-body suit. Tied to Formation’s body-improvement programs. Armor or movement help, giving already amplified people stronger specialization. This is the cleaner handoff toward 3D.

Model sheet version. Heavier enhanced suit. For people who still want more armor after enhancement. Built for impact, heavy tools, construction effort, and direct force.

Specialist suit. Quick type. Could branch into pilot, medic, or long-range scout roles. Bulkier than normal armor for non-enhanced personnel, with more layered protection and filtration. This model pass is mainly about the silhouette and scale.

A more controlled pass on the same idea. Driver’s suit. Civil or military. Comfort, machine interconnection, and protection without getting too bulky to sit and operate properly. The silhouette and main parts should now be clear enough to reuse later.

Operator suit. Best for system control, multi-target processing, hacking, and structure operation. A person turned into a working terminal. I kept this focused on the parts that need to read in 3D.

Taking it into the model stage. Formation war-dog or bonded companion beast. Not just symbolic. Depending on the status, it has real utility. Another extension of Formation systems, bred or built to smash through armor, vehicles, or groups.
