Buildings past silhouette and into something that is already usable enough that the function starts reading without needing to explain everything around it.
A lot of it is still heavy by default. Thick bases, stacked mass, hard edges, platforms that feel planted. The difference now is that the buildings should start reading more like structures with a job.
This phase is less about “does it hold ground” and more about “what kind of control does it hold?” Defense, processing, storage, logistics, command, and enforcement.
Formation buildings are like battlefield anchors. If they want to move into a place, they have the structure for it. If they want to stay, same thing. Most of this should be like long-term occupation, long-term abandonment, or long-term use.
