Axtlan's Design Sheet - Formation (Vehicles)

Taking the heavy Formation vehicle shapes and turning them into clearer families. Transport, repair, policing, harvest, artillery, assault, logistics, airlift, and coastal reach all need different equipment without losing the same faction logic.

Big wheels, thick hulls, stacked bodies, and modular tops. If a vehicle deploys somewhere, it should already bring enough support to keep working.

It could keep going for a long time once it is moving. The dish makes it read more like a signal-distortion or comms vehicle than just transport.

Larger squad carrier. A mobile post and a simple transport. Built to keep people alive, sheltered, and connected while moving.

Fast scout vehicle. Off-road, rock-climbing type. Made to get somewhere first, scan wide areas, and hold long range through the signal scan dish.

Repair or construction vehicle. Could harvest a little if needed. One of those base designs that Formation would repeat across many levels of society.

Resource drilling platform. Different sizes, maybe, same core technology. The main collector vehicle for Formation.

Police or cadet vehicle. Battlefield support, for internal order use. Something young people would learn early.

Tank base platform. Can probably take different turret types. A bit bulky for a main battle tank, but good as a flexible chassis.

Super-heavy artillery variation. Faster firing cycle, more barrels, more flak role. Built to saturate rather than just hit once.

Main artillery system. Deployable, dependable, easy to position. Long-range, but not absurdly long once the environment starts interfering.

Vertical take-off air transport. Gravity-powered. A workhorse for moving people, equipment, energy, or cargo without needing a runway.

Colossal hover airship. Heavy assault presence. Versatile, resistant, and able to withstand hard consequences.

Drone carrier aircraft. A flying support platform rather than a direct fighter. The antenna makes it feel built around distortion, re-arm, and control.

Gunboat type. Formation probably does not need a huge navy. This is sufficient where coast or river use still matters.

Colossal hovercraft battleship. Final coast-war answer. Something built to cross bad ground and bring most of the system with it.
