Axtlan's Sketches - Krek
Trying to break Krek into smaller parts so the whole process is easier to understand. Ore changing, different colors, crystal growth, plants, pods, and the places where it begins.
The main thing is making all of it feel connected instead of looking like random crystals and strange plants. A lot is simplified on purpose here. Just enough to see which shapes and relationships start reading as Krek.
General Krek system pass. Trying to simplify the full loop before splitting it into smaller parts.
Krek growing through different materials. Early test for how the transformation starts and how much of the original host should remain visible.
Crystal growth connected to oil-rich or linked deposits. Seeing how the material changes without turning into a separate system.
One of the simpler crystal directions. Keeping the mass clear before adding more variation.
Another oil-linked growth pass. This one is more about the spread than the final crystal shape.
Testing a different cluster and composition. Still trying to keep it inside the same Krek language.
The most plant-heavy version so far. Seeing how far the biology can take over before the mineral side disappears.
A giant poppy-like form with crystal growth. The plant should feel changed by Krek, not like a normal flower with crystals added.
A larger plant pass built around the addictive crystal logic. Still rough, but the connection is starting to read.
Crater-like growth around one concentration point. Trying to show the source area affecting the ground around it.
